Disconnect; patch required?

So I was just running a map and I got disconnected in combat. When I tried to log in, it said there's a patch available. Restarted the game and there obviously was no patch, why did that happen?

EDIT: I cannot log in now, it keeps saying I need to download a patch but there is nothing to download...
