BUG? New node "Smashing strike" don't work with spells.

(i'm not good at english. my english is sometimes wrong. sorry.)

New node "Smashing strike" in templer area
("10% chance to gain an endurance charge on critical strike")
never generates the endurance charges on spell critical strike.



I use Ice spear - GMP - Power charge on crit to generate power charges.
the "69% chance to gain a power charge on critical strike" gives me some power charge.

I found "Smashing strike" passive node in new tenpler skill tree.
"10% chance to gain an endurance charge on critical strike"

the sentence is same.
"69% chance to gain a power charge on critical strike"(Power charge on crit gem)
"10% chance to gain an endurance charge on critical strike"(Smashing strike node)
so i thought,
"with this node, ice spear can also generate endurance charges."
"and, this nodes gives me some global crit chance too. wow thats nice!".

i took that node, but i never get endurance charge with ice spear.
i checked that the Default Atacck and some attack skills can generate the endurance charge.

so i guess the "10% chance to gain an endurance charge on critical strike" is not applied to spells.

i think this is bug. Isn't it?

a my friend tested this. his spell crit never generate endurance charge too.

Are you using a Staff?

yes sure. i using staff.

GGG fixed this in 1.3.0d patch. thank you for quick fix!


however,

GGG fixed not effect but wording.

"Changed the wording on Smashing Strikes to clarify that endurance charges are only gained from melee critical strikes."

im sad, i need many regret orbs to fix my skill tree....
