Disappeared skill gem?

I do not know if this is a bug
- I had a multistrike gem for awhile and I decided to put it back into my stash. After I played a few hours, I looked back into my stash and could not find the multistrike gem. Is this a bug? |

It's probably misplaced, or in a crafting bench or something.
It happens all the time, but it is never actually gone, unless the user did something with it. They don't just "Disappear". |
