Freeze chance gems

Hi All,

Looking for the "chance to freeze" for any intelligence items.

Ice Nova - ?
Freezing Pulse - ?
Glacial Cascade - ?
Ice spear - ?
Arctic breath - ?

If i use frostbite, and i'm melee w/ herald of ice or hatred or added cold dmg linked to melee spell, will that trigger w/ the % to freeze from frostbite??

Wiki says nothing, dont have the gems yet.

Ice nova has no chance to freeze. Maybe you meant critical chance? Or you took 5% chance to freeze on passive tree.

No passives for freeze, hmmm.


Any of these have a chance to freeze on hit??

Also, If I use frostbite curse, and I'm melee w/ added cold damage, hatred aura or herald of ice, will that apply to the % chance to freeze from frostbite?

What if I am using added cold dmg & hatred, is that % chance per? Or would it only make sense to have 1 running?

If you got a chance to freeze, whenever it triggers it will check for any cold damage you did in that hit and use that value to determine freeze length. Source of the damage doesn't matter.

There's some chance to freeze on quality added cold gem.
