Will you cry when crit gets nerfed?

I feel bad for the ppl who spent 500+ exalts on Shatterchuck and Low Life spectral throw that are gonna do 80% less DPS when crit and Acuity get nerfed to the ground in 1.3.

I hope game will be balanced.
And the end of dagger fever.

1. It's just pixel money.
2. Rich dudes and good players will always find a new "op" playstyle.
3. You sure about that incoming nerf? ;)

Crit isn't OP with a sword, just daggers and bows need a rebalancing. Truth

I guess daggers and crit bows might have their base damage reduced. Acuity could recieve leech effectivness penalty similar to vaal pact (this would prevent them becoming legacies)

Anyways, majority of players wont care bacuse they play in challenge leagues and going to adapt to the changes and find other OP builds.. just like after every major patch

Possible but I highly doubt they would do this because that would be tremendously non-transparent from the wording of the mod on the item. While this is true for the CoE nerf as well, it doesn't assign an arbitrary numeric value nerf that isn't on the item, whereas there would have be some number % effectiveness associated with Acuity that would not be on the item.

On the other hand I agree with this. The whole outcry for Crit nerf makes me laugh because the same people that are doing it now will still be crying out for the next thing being OP if it gets nerfed.

We saw it with Spectral Throw before, now it's Crits.
I m sorry but where is it hinted of an upcoming nerf?

essentially this. and just as Peterlerock said good players will always find the next OP playstyle - as in, with their superior game knowledge and mechanics manipulation they will figure out a build that will rise above the rest, and thus be deemed OP.

this occurs in every game. you cannot and will never have absolute balance - its basically impossible. so anything that sticks out as slightly better than the rest is always deemed OP and bitched bout, its nerfed into the ground and rinse/repeat
