Buying quality gems from Master, is this common?

So I found quality gems that a Master is selling.

Is that a common thing?
Not common but also not super rare, just check them from time to time.
I believe that their gems update whenever GGG updates for the daily quests. However I am not even slightly certain of this.

I'd just check twice a day. Early in the morning and late at night, depending on when you play.

It's just part of their regular shop inventory: it regens when you complete a Daily, and when they level up.
I made a lot of GCPs from buying quality gems for alch.
its relatively common, just check master vendor inventory after every daily.

That's not realy worth it. unless it's like 18-20% qual.

2 Alch = 1 Chaos
1 GCP = 1-2 Chaos

So if you buy say 4-5, you've spent more currency than just buying a GCP.

I usually sell for this rate:

3 Alch = 1 chaos
2.5-3 Chaos = 1 GCP

I wouldn't buy 5%q gems for Alchemy orbs, but 10% ones seem fine.
It's not really "profitable", but it gets you GCPs for Alchs, which can be useful.

I assume you're playing standard then. :)
In that case it might be worth it.

Indeed, alchs aren't really in demand. They're pretty plentiful so it wouldn't be easy to find someone that would exchange them for GCP and it would be at a less than favorable rate anyway.

You aren't losing much by buying quality gems, especially if you don't want to bother with trading much for whatever reason.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
