Is this a thing??

Joined a couple public maps recently. Coincidentally both maps were necropolis. Same thing happened to me on both occasions.

Easy mods on both maps and no one was using lagging skills... until we hit Merveil. Then suddenly 2 people started using discharge non-stop. Lagged the entire session and everyone, except the dischargers, stared dying (including my char). Even worse, the dischargers did no damage, at least as far as I could tell.

After my char died I didn't rez, I just watch them stand there discharging until everyone else died.

Normally, I don't have problem with this map and can do enough damage to take down Merveil by myself in relative short time with a 6 person party. These guy stood there for minutes doing no damage at all.

I could be totally mistaken and misread the situation or it could be a new way* to grief in pub games.





*could have been around for awhile and I just started noticing it.
