Can't go to the City of Sarn

Hey :D

So, i was playing on HC with my Ranger and doing act 2. I did the Ancient Pyramid and got to fight the Vaal Oversoul (i'm the one who used the Apex on the altar). And then i died fighting. Now my Ranger is on Default league, ok. I did again and this time i killed Vaal Oversoul (this time another player used the altar) and i can't go to the City of Sarn, because i don't have any apex with me or used the altar. I need help to advance in the game.
