Disconnect = loot erase?

I was doing a dry woods map when a unique gnarled branch dropped, when I tried to use a scroll of wisdom on it, I got disconnected instantly, when I relogged, the server could not retrieve my characters.
I relogged again and got on my character, the unique gnarled branch was gone from my inventory. This happened in standard league on a marauder. Last edited by IronEel on Oct 21, 2014, 5:57:11 PM

I'm afraid it sounds like there was an issue and a small roll-back occurred. Unfortunately we won't be able to restore the Gnarled Branch. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience and hope this won't deter you from continuing! | |
