Does CoC work on secondary Tornado Shot projectiles?

Hi there,

I was wondering, since I don't see many CoC builds with Tornado Shot... does CoC actually only work on the primary projectiles or does it also work on the 'explosion' projectiles? If it does, something like TS+GMP+CoC+EK/whatever+?+? would be pretty cool with a high crit%, right?

So does it? Also, piercing does not limit the number of CoC-casts to the first enemy, right?

Maybe you can add a one-liner on if a build based on TS and CoC would be viable compared to standard TS builds.

Thanks!

It works on every hit you make with the supported active skill.

CoC builds don't use tornado shot much because most hits will be near-simultaneous so spells will fail to trigger because of mini cooldown enforced by CoC. Lmp spectral throw and chained barrage are popular because they spread hits nicely, not because they look good.

It's similar to reave and ground slam, reave hits instantly and ground slam wave has travel time, that why the latter is somewhat useful for CoC and former is virtually pointless because you get only one cast.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Also, Tornado Shot's single target potential is somewhat suspect. CoC builds rarely have trouble mowing down packs, but single targets can be problematic. Barrage is popular precisely because it's pretty much the only skill that hits as often against single targets as it does against packs.
Have you done something awesome with Sire of Shards? PM me and tell me all about it!

This is why I prefer using Cyclone, especially since you can make it easier to use with an /oos macro and by using controlled casts.
