Is there a way to life leech with a minion build?

I'm playing a pretty squishy witch and I was wondering if there's anyway to gain life through my minions? I understand that most forms of life leech is by direct use of weapons and/or spells against monsters. I was wondering if there's a way to gain life through minions? If not could I suggest a gem for it somewhere? This is my first time posting.

Only way YOU can heal is if YOU attack. Either use Life Leech gem, or some Attack Skill + Life Gain on Hit.

Totems could do that for ya. Try Devouring totem :)
