Advice on my tanky claw leech build

Hello!

After getting tired of ripping in Beyond I want to try to make a tank that can stand and leech life with a claw using.... probably Reave or Dual Strike with melee splash, I'm not sure yet. I was hoping someone could take a look at the build and tell me if there are any ways to improve it or if you think it is viable etc.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated, thank you! :)

You took Shield passives, so I guess Dual Strike is not what you want. ;)
Reave or Double Strike, both will work in their usual setups.

Just a couple of thoughts on your tree:

1. I don't think "Revenge of the Hunted" is a good investment.
Compared to taking the outer highway (3 dex nodes), you invest 8 skillpoints in:
That's five points for "12% life, 34% evasion, 12% damage"

You could get 20% life for 5 points on the left side with Athleticism.

Click me, rerooted right side, took Athleticism.

2. I don't like the Marauder Notable "Armor Mastery".
That's two points, just for a little bit of Armor.

3. I'd take Vaal Pact. You will have at least 6+2% (passives) +3% (claw) = 11% life leech
I'd take 4-5% instant leech over 11% normal leech any day.

4. Iron Reflexes is a 3 point investment in your tree. I would probably skip it, but that's a matter of preference.

This is what I would probably play (100 points):
+50 Int to actually be able to use Claws
Berserking and Vaal Pact
Still 192% life

I meant double strike but I mixed them up :)

I see what you mean and I definately prefer your way of rerooting to right side, however, I'm a huge fan of Iron Reflexes so I'll probably keep that.

You are also probably correct that I need some INT to keep the claw equipped. Thank you very much for the help, you definately improved upon the build now.
