Whakawairua Tuahu - boss unbalanced?
I recently found the unique map that was recently added, and decided to do it on my 79 witch SRS summoner. Clearing the map proved no difficulty whatsoever, untill I hit the brick wall of a boss.
After hitting the seal and the boss was summoned, I was almost instantly killed. After several tries of hit and runs and getting 1 - 2 shot I realized I wasn't doing this alone, so I yelled in general for help and got a 88 Marauder (unknown spec). We both proceed to get one shot by the bosses instant fire nova aoe. Note, I am at 76% Fire and Lightning resist, and have 3k hp and 610 es. The Marauder was also capped resist and was at 4k hp. Is the boss supposed to do this much damage? Also, the wiki says the boss of this map is 'Tormented Temptress' but that is NOT whom I fought. The boss I fought against was 'Shade of a Witch' who casted RF(her rf alone could have killed me in less than 2 seconds), Lightning Warp, Spark, Storm Call, Ball Lightning, and the Fire Nova that the Sunburst Queen uses, only doing stupid amounts of damage. In fact, almost all of her skills would potentially one shot-me, (getting hit with one storm call dropped me to about 10%). All of that added to the fact that the boss was also rather quick on all of the spells makes me think that this is unintentionally hard. Last bumped on Jan 11, 2023, 3:23:38 PM

You didn't make it to the boss. The temptress is the boss, and you fought her minions.

Even worse then, if I didn't even make it to the boss. Her minions are one shotting people with 3k or more hp and max resists.
Is this the intent? Its only a 72 map, and I've not had this much trouble with other unique maps. The fact that I also cleared the rest of the map no problem is also a little off. If the boss and her minions are that hard, the trash should give some indication that I was evidently vastly under geared for the boss. Unless this fight is intended at near Atziri level difficulty, I still feel it is way overtuned. |

" That's a great ideal, but GGG doesn't follow it and I don't know where you got the impression they do. Boss is way stronger than the mobs for a lot of maps; you just get used to it on the maps you've played before. Doing something the first time you don't have that adaptation yet and the boss seems ridiculous. |

i also beg GGG they dont implement new content anymore that kills my hardware or atleast dont release contents that is everytime a bigger hardware check
i made it to the minion too, probably could have done it easily if the fight would not have dropped me between 0-1 fps. |

My point of all this was to ask if the boss, and her minions are supposed to be this difficult. If they are, that's fine.
No I didn't have resist flasks, as I didn't know I'd need them as I've cleared every other map I've come across without them. (Including lvl 72 Zana dailys of Palace with unique boss+ and jungle valley with onslaught modifers). Her minions literally do more damage than map Dominous of equal level with a +dmg modifier, If that is intended, that's fine and I will just warn anyone doing this map about it. |

Was a major PITA to do on my caster - teleport inside his shield, start nuking, boss already moved away. -_- Took like 5 mins to chase him into a corner where he stopped running away. :P Maybe intentionally easier on melee than on ranged? Usually it's the other way around.
