Blue screens

hi, i've been getting constant blue screens every few hours in the game. i get the blue screens during intensive play such as doing maps with a lot of mobs.
i have no such troubles playing other games. i've tried playing with --softwareaudio and --nosound to see if that has anything to do with it but i still get blue screens. i've updated my drivers and still got blue screens. i read the blue screens and saw no specific information other than dumping memory. Make a clean install of latest radeon drivers

followed the guide to clean install the latest driver from the post above, still got a blue screen.

If you're still blue-screening after installing the latest drivers for your ATI/AMD video card, then something else is going wrong...
That could be a problem with the driver still, a problem with windows itself, or a problem with the hardware. BlueScreens are generally only caused by corruption in windows, driver issues, or hardware issues. Your BSoD is explicitly pointing to an issue with your video module. You can google search for bug check code 0xa0000001 atikmdag.sys and look at some of the other problems people have had and attempt their fixes. Chances are though that it would likely require either a re-install of Windows, or a replacement/reseat of the video card. Good luck. |
