Is it prossible to change a default char back to hardcore

Was with my friends in a party ( + teamspeak ) act 3 cruel. While I was in the loadingscreen ( from Warehouse to Marketplace ) the game crashed ( was back in log in screen ) and after relog I was in default league ... rly ????

My questions is now if it is possible to change a char back to hardcoreleague ??? (HC_Alien lvl 45 Witch died)

Unfortunately, when transitioning from Zone A to Zone B you are vulnerable in Zone A until the server removes you, which may not happen immediately. In this case, you died in the Warehouse while you were waiting for Marketplace to load.. possibly by a mob that you didn't see when you went through.

Make sure nothing is chasing you when you change areas and preferably clear a large area around an exit (and perhaps drop a totem as a decoy).
