Map Device Portal sound

With the addition of Zana's Map Device in my hideout, I start noticing how loud the portals are when I'm done mapping, to the point that I need use up all the portals so that the humming will stop. My hideout is Catarina's tileset, and I have the Map Device at the wall end of lv 3 Cat hideout, and when going to the river side I can still hear it. I know the normal portals have the same sound effect, and I think that is good because then you know that the portal is there and it might close soon. The Map Device ones won't close however, unless the hideout is resetted. Is it possible to tune it down?
