Blue vein cheese

I love a strong flavored cheese but the smell has always put me off. I decided to finally try some.

I started to doubt my decision when I asked the deli assistant for a generous slice of the blue cheese they were selling.

She asked me "are you sure?"

I said "yes please" and noted that she let out an audible sigh. She then started to suit up in an environmental suit and carefully cut a slice of toxic cheese.

The flavor was very strong. Went well with some stuffed olives, pickled mushrooms and red wine.

I didn't finish it all in one sitting. Now it's melted it's way through the packaging and started to eat the other food in the fridge.

Blue Cheese, like Feta is needed in small amounts to enhance flavors. Not be the flavor.

Unless you like that sort of thing.

You would be wrong, but I won't make fun of you.

Much.
blue cheese is decent when buried under copious amounts of black peppercorn. I am not a big fan of such odious flavors as olives and a lot of other Mediterranean inspired foods, but i do imagine it is a complimenting flavor. Also good with apples (and black pepper)

feta is excellent on pizza though when the chunks get toasted up nicely.
Hey...is this thing on?
Limburger, an acquired taste.
