[1.2.3] Lawyne's STRONGEST Mana Phys Wander 90K #1 GMP Chain DPS + lvl 22 Arctic Armour

You there! A moment of your time!

===========================================================================
I want to make clear that I dont want to steal any Credits or 'Copyrights'!
This build was basically founded by KAISERIN and will ever be and everybody knows!
All inspiration in improving phys wander is always coming from his base, because it is the best fundamental release for Power Siphon.
Playstyle, use of flasks, pros & cons, etc, are exactly the same like Kaiserin has mentioned in his original thread.
Please have read and understood Kaiserin's guide before you start a discussion here.
Everything to know is written in stone: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/799288

I just want to release an uncommon version to work with the changes to Auras that came with patch 1.2.
Everything of this began on page 130 of Kaiserin's thread and there it would get lost pretty quick I think! So I decided to just open a new thread for it.
I want to make this build accessable to anybody who like to test and discuss about it.

I probably wont make any videos or screenshots, because either I am at work where I cannot start the game, or I am at home and wanna enjoy the game instead of managing forum threads like I do at work :P I guess you know what I mean :)

===========================================================================

Ok, after that being said, here my background thoughts: (You can skip this part :P)

Spoiler
I didnt want to spend tons of Exalteds again (even if I had them :P) to get the perfect gear due to GGG nerfing strategy.
I dont want to play BM because the gear I have is not optimized for it, although I would do more DPS with existing items, but I dont wanna dismiss AA and the supposed playstyle and gameplay (tested it ofcourse).
I want high DPS, high survivability, fast clearspeed including bosses and Uber.
Before the patch, I was playing the witch at lvl 95, and I never thought that 1.2 would rip a gap of almost 20k DPS compared to the Scion or Shadow with the same gear on same level.
So it is just logical that the witch completely had to change the build (they call it Shatter Chuck) and I have rerolled a Scion quickly. This decision wasn't easy, but is now really satisfying.
Shadow is also in a very good position, but as I dont have a high lvl Shadow yet, I cannot test if it does even more or less DPS than a Scion.
Somehow or other the difference between both cant be very high!

For those who are in a similar position like me, here is the solution! :) Enjoy!

===========================================================================

>>>>>>> THIS IS ACTUALLY THE #1 DPS MANA BASED PHYS WANDER BUILD!!! <<<<<<<

===========================================================================
____________________________________________________________________________________

Running it properly requires at least a lvl 92 Scion or a lvl 93 Shadow with mirrored stuff or similar quality of items, that is very very expensive!
As soon as you match the requirements, you gonna enjoy a very smooth gameplay with patch 1.2.
Everything is synergising just perfectly.

____________________________________________________________________________________

Essential Stats at my current Level 96:

Spoiler
6L Power Siphon DPS: ~81k GMP Chain
6L Barrage DPS: ~415k (swapped Shavs)
4L Barrage DPS: ~296k (more with FA instead of PCoC)
Crit Chance: 95% on 6 Power Charges

Unreserved Mana: 166

Energy Shield: ~6,2k
All Res: capped, Lightning +1%
Defense: Atziri's Acuity + Arctic Armour lvl 22 (21 if less than 160 unreserved Mana)

____________________________________________________________________________________

Pros & Cons compared to other versions:

Spoiler
+ Highest DPS for PS (Blood Magic offers huge 10k more DPS, but no AA + no Barrage or Cwdt)
+ 4L Singletarget (allows on-the-fly bashing any boss fast, no need for a 2nd Shavs :P)
+ Arctic Armour lvl22 (makes us almost invincible)
+ all 5 slots available for Movement, Defense and DPS Flasks (no Mana or Life Flask needed)
+ no firing blanks, even on bosses
+ smoothest and most relaxed gameplay imo
+ can use all mirrored, on Mana based items from Pre 1.2 but

- need new Amulet with Manaregen (due to Clarity nerf from patch 1.2)
- no Haste means slightly lower Movementspeed (but we have a bit MS from AA and flasks)
- no Herald of Ash means no extra Ignition (doesnt really matter as we oneshot most stuff)

____________________________________________________________________________________

So how is it working?

<< We run only 5 Auras (Clarity, Discipline, Wrath, Anger, Hatred) + Herald of Ice >>

<< We do not specc any points in unneccessary Mana nodes for more Auras or Buffs! >>

<< We take just enough Mana/Regen to keep AA and PS up! >> (Leech does the rest)

<< We dont need to specc any points in Lifegain, Leech, Life, Armour, Eva, Block etc! >>

<< More available points for pure DPS nodes are outclassing Herald of Ash and Haste! >>

<< lvl 22 AA + Atziri's Acuity grant fantastic survivability! >>
____________________________________________________________________________________

Good to know:

Spoiler
Due to the much lower Manapool/regen with this build, you can only sustain Arctic Armour at lvl 22, but this gives still superior survivability and moderate mobility.

That's why we want to use AA @ lvl 19 and empower it +3, that also affects Bloodrage to compensate the last percentage of missing Haste.
(Jake would need a lvl 17 AA gem :P)

Another way could be taking a native lvl 21 AA gem and dropping Empower (and a little DPS by the lowered Bloodrage and Survivability) to get the benefit of a Vaal gem or a Curse for bosses and stuff.

Gear & Gems:

Spoiler

Rings + Shield by Kaiserin http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/855274
Wand by JaketheAlmighty http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1031745
Amulet by AXN http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/515441

____________________________________________________________________________________

Bandits: 8% all Res / Passive / Power Charge
____________________________________________________________________________________

Build: (DPS numbers with 3 Frenzy & 6 Power Charges, no Atziri Flask, no Vaal Haste etc)

Scion lvl 100: 90k GMP Chain PS

Scion lvl 98: 85k GMP Chain PS

Scion lvl 95: 78k GMP Chain PS

Scion lvl 92: 70k GMP Chain PS

____________________________________________________________________________________

Shadow lvl 100 (DPS is very very similar to Scion, perhaps a bit more)

Maybe Phys Damage on startup ist better than Attack Speed, perhaps Accuracy + Attackspeed on Wandcluster is better than Wand Damage, I dont know, you should check it ;)

Shadow lvl 93: over 70k GMP Chain PS

Experimentalize with Critmulti and Wand Damage nodes between 93 and 100 to get the best result for each lvl

I hope some ppl can enjoy the build as much as I do :) Please let me know

Cheers

thanx, rerolling is not as annoying as failing with a witch that wears high end gear^^
from lvl 75 on you can use acuitys and got all reduced mana nodes at 5k ES. that makes levelling to 92 pretty easy and quick ;)

adjusted dps numbers since i've got

y, 6k ES is enough for anything in poe endgame, but if u dont feel save, just get some more ES nodes, doing 70k @lvl95 is still bombastic

you would have to get the Passive from Normal Bandit then:

do you need a level 22 blood magic and reduced mana to reserve both 60% aura's? if not what's the minimum gem level needed?

Thats my current set-up... tested on my Duelist, which I used as first char, but decided to reroll... seems like I've to use LL-Gem with Chain... GMP works as well, but need way more Mana-Regen, crossing fingers to get mana-reg master mod from cata :D
