Level 60 Ranged followed Petrov's guide, am I missing something?

Left click:
Burning arrow - Faster attacks - Weapon Elem. damage
DPS: 1709

Right click:
Elemental arrow - GMP - Weapon Elem. damage - Mana Leech
DPS: 593

Right click: (2)
Lightning Arrow - GMP - Weapon Elem. damage - Mana Leech
DPS: 552
Mana cost: 60

These stats are unbuffed and this is my gear.

Am I doing something wrong?
My AOE damage seems very low and I have real mana problems whe using LA.

What can you suggest to me?

I'm no expert, but I'm a 55 Ranger using a semi-Petrov build.

My bit of advice would be to use LMP for your Lightning Arrow. You don't need all those projectiles with the bounce effect of LA. GMP is just bringing your projectile damage down.

I went Blood Magic, so my AoE is currently LA + LMP + Life on Hit (not leech) + Weapon Ele + Faster Attacks. On a 5L like that my LA costs 53 to cast, and has no problems clearing packs.

My suggestion is to post in petrov's thread if you follow his guide(whomever this petrov is).

My build is similar, though I think you need Blood Magic. I'm only level 50 but my mana pool was far too small to sustain any kind of DPS - Blood Magic and Life Leech helped made it work.

If you look at the skill itself once you have all gems in place, it'll list the current mana requirement.

With this build you need blood magic, all Petrov's build have this node. (update to 0.10.0)

I think that you miss de path to blood magic and now in your level is hard to keep the mana.

You are using de old version of the closed beta.

Even his old closed beta build used Blood Magic though

Yes, the old build from closed beta also use blood magic.

You will need 7 lvl more to get blood magic or create a new character.

Go for blood magic as soon I can. I will reserve a skill point for the moment that I have a good amount of life and life hit/leech.
