Hey, does this build work for the 5 day no trade/no party race?

By that I mean is Chin Sol really really necessary?

All of the changes in the beta so far has not been good to this build, im reserving judgement on what to do until 2.0 comes out. The aura changes hurt aswell, the tree is super stretched as it is.

There was talk about some changes with Burning Arrow and that in might get some aoe effect, but i have no idea if it will be useful at all.

The damage penalty on Prolif is literally nothing, the aoe however hurts ALOT.

I hope GGG gets to rebalance around the real problems like Flameblast, but for now its looking pretty grim.

Rest assured, no matter what happens i will make a video about it.

Please GGG don't kill my build.

Have a shadow version running pretty well on the 1m fb hc. Fire trap/Flame Surge to level. Running most map mods without any issues, though I've been dodging harder mods on 76+ maps.

Not much lives through an ignite from vaal burning arrow. I chose to use pen over wed as my link because I'm too lazy to swap them whenever I run some sort of fire res map or something. One of the more annoying things to face is the flameblast beyonder, I've taken to just running away from it as it's not worth the time trying to kill with burning arrow traps. Pretty much everything else is free loot.

Have you tested it in the beta (I'd like to but no beta key)? I've asked streamers who tested the new prolif...

They say the nerf is significant but I can still see this working with Carcass Jack and some AoE from the tree, let`s be fair the prolif AoE was ridiculously huge, a whole screen melting away if not even more than that.

I'm hoping the build will still be viable, since its not that expensive and from what I've seen does well in both AoE and single target, lets hope it will be at least half of what it was, if so it will still be awesome imo.
Honestly i feel like 2.0 is very bad patch for all the prolif based builts
Things are looking sad for this build, I have tried it in the beta, my conclusion is that the dps is still there but the prolif nerf has crushed this build.

I have both burning arrow and vaal burning arrow in 5Links, to be fair I'm only level 62 and the gem levels are as follows : burning arrow lvl 16, fire pen lvl 15, chance to ignite lvl 15, ele prolif lvl 12 in a 4L Deerstalker unique boots. Chance to ignite is 74% without cursing(Flammability)before hand and without Mokou's Embrace Ruby Ring.

Vaal burning arrow lvl 16, trap lvl 14, fire pen lvl 12, chance to ignite lvl 11, ele prolif lvl 10. Chance to ignite is 70% without cursing(Flammability)before hand and without Mokou's Embrace Ruby Ring.

I wanted to try to reach the Witch AoE nodes I dont think that's gonna happen since the wipe is
tommorrow and leveling up is slow and painful, I died a few times(lost exp), the changes to reduced mana no longer affecting auras means you'll have to choose between grace and anger until you get a lvl 4 enlighten(cough cough) or choose between the Witch AoE nodes or the reduced mana nodes from the tree namely Sovereignty and maybe Champion of the Cause or lose
a link on each setup for blood magic gem and reserve 100% of the mana pool(the curse of choice will also have to be linked with BM).

To be fair some of the gems levels are pretty low, same with my character level.

Maybe with a Carcass Jack and the Witch AoE nodes(reachable at around level 70) plus higher level gems this build could still work, I wish I had a Carcass Jack and a bit more time to test this theory out. If even half of the prolif AoE on live could be obtainable I think the build would still be worth playing, as it stands right now you'd have to level up into the 70+ with Flame Totems or something else get the gear ready by that time and make the switch and hope for the best, I'll try to reach level 70 and get my hands on a Carcass Jack and get back with another post if I do or dont.

Also being self found has been time consuming, I have some points on the skill tree that could be refunded with better gear so this is by no means optimized properly but all in all the prolif AoE nerf has gimped this build and I guess all prolif builds enormously.
