The game is running in slow motion.

Hey all,

Can you please answer the following questions:
1) Desktop or Laptop?
2) What graphics card and CPU do you have, how much RAM do you have and what Operating System are you using(Win7 32bit or 64bit, WinXP 32/64bit etc)
3) Any overclocking? What are your CPU/GPU temps?
4) What Hard Drive do you have, SSD? If HDD, when was last defrag completed?
5) Any hardware changes since the last time it ran properly?

Please try and answer these to the best of your ability! :)
Hi!

Ive met this problem today and well, everything was working just fine since i first started this amazing game, that is about month ago.

As for the answers on your questions:

1) Laptop
2) Asus Intel Core i7 - 3610QM 2.3Ghz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 660M 2Gb
8GB RAM
I'm running Windows 7 64bit
3) No overclocking at all as i don't need that.
4) HDD 500GB + 500GB, last defrag couple days ago.
5) None, i didn't change anything.

Last time i played the game it was 3 days ago and everything was working just fine. I log in today and i found this problem which makes me unable to play the game. I tried various usual stuff, like rerunning the game client or restarting the pc, running the game in administrator mode and in mode for winXP, nothing helped.
I'm very upset about this as I've spent some money on this game already. Plus i see many many people posting about this problem here on forums and there's no hope and no effort put to solve this problem.

Anyway, i hope you guys will figure it out soon enough.

Kind regards, Frustrated Kah.

review my thread, then let me know whats going on with dxdiag and event id logs
Ok, for some unknown reason the game is back to normal, it is synced as it should again. I didn't do anything else after yesterday so i don't know what to tell others who are getting the same problem. It seems like some weird bug.
Hopefully GGG support will have a look into this and fingers crossed, they will find the source of this problem and way to fix it for good.

All the best Exiles.
Kind regards, Kah.

Offtopic but - DO NOT EVER defrag a SSD, it does not need it because things cannot get fragmented on a SSD. Using defrag will mean more wear to your SSD and it fail sooner.
Nothing to see here.

Unless they're referring to the GGPK defrag. That is not the same thing as the SSD defrag (which I agree you shouldn't do).
