Out of memory error

I keep getting "Out of Memory" errors in the Act II of the game.

I firstly got it on the very first area of Act II, and I did that thing (adding -gc 1 to the shortcut). It worked, but now I got it again on another area of Act II, and it looks like -gc 1 does not work anymore.

What's going on ? How do I fix it ? As soon as I click on that area, my game freezes and I get that error.

My computer specs are:
- AMD Athlon 6000+ 3,0 ghz
- nvidia 9600GT 512mb DDR3
- 1 TB HHD Sata 3
- 3 GB DDR2 RAM memory.

Same here! I get the error mostly on Act 2 Chamber of Sins LvL 1. Please HELP !

TRY THIS

I traced this problem to windows Virtual memory
whenever i had Paging Files enabled ... sooner or later i got the error
when i have No Paging selected i never got this error

how to turn paging off

go to Right click Computer icon > Properties
left side of the Window go on Advanced system settings
now in Advanced tab go on Settings (1st one ... Performance)
again go on Advanced tab and under Virtual memory go to Change

Click on C: / D: or whatever partition u have
deselect Automatically manage paging (top of the window
and select "No paging File" > click Set
(REPEAT FOR ALL PARTITIONS IF U HAVE MORE THAN ONE)

restart PC and u are done
if u do it correctly u can check
Right Click My computer > Properties> Advanced system settings > Advanced(tab) > Settings(1st one) >Advanced tab > Change and when u have your drives listed it should be
Drive.........Size
C:............none
D:............none
etc

the reason i tried this is: a game i played where paging was an issue is Titan Quest so i had it Disabled
then i saw ppl reporting this problem so i decided to test it.... Turend paging on and after 1hr of play i got the out of memory error

Forgotted to say I use Windows 7, but I guess it was obvious.

Anyway, thanks for the answer. I did that and I'm gonna test to see if it works, and if I can pass now in that area, after I'm gonna test it for few hours and I'll be back with feedback.

But I really hope they will fix this soon. Consider my post as another beta feedback about an issue.

Still doesn't work ! Did it, worked for a while but got the error yet again. I took out my virtual memory, I placed 3-4 times the virtual memory (9-12 GB), nothing, nothing, nothing.

I got the same problem. It started in Act2-Crossroads. There is a fix for it or no?

Problem solve i found the solution !!! uninstall poe, switch to an other game. its working well no more crash
