I'm well aware of how a MORE (multiplicative) and Increased (additive) multiplier works in this game. I never said I had more dps than the original build. Simply that I believe it is similar while being MUCH more Tanky.

I'd venture the RF build has 10-20% more dps at max while sacrificing defenses.

Actually, now that I think of it considering i'm running conductivity and ele weakness the damage difference is probably minimal. Especially on lightning resistant mobs.

Yep. Just hit level 90 and killed normal atziri with one death. Probably could have not died if I did Atziri without arc in Mjolnir. Not sure exactly how much the reflect contributed to my death.

I opted to keep my curses socketed even with the curse reflect.

my thought was this isn't a crit build so enfeeble isn't that bad of a damage reduction and that it would help me w/ her reflect phase some.

My resistances were still over capped with ele weakness on so I wasn't really worried about that getting me killed.


I was surprised how easily I nuked the Double Vaal and Trio bosses.

Is there a life version of this build? I'm a relatively poor soon to be mjolner user, i can't afford to go low life, any cheaper variants of this build?

as cow pointed out you loose damage on not having RF. You previously asked how other builds sustain life. they use the life on hit from the skilltree. this is also the case in toms build.

However using multiple curses IF all applied on hit could make up for the loss in in spell damage from not using RF (your build uses cwdt to apply curse and should thus not even be considered as stable dps).

Tom also made the original rainbow nuke build witch viable - it is actually best for witch now (no longer scion).

Using life leech gem is a waste since you might as well use atziri's promise flask for added leech, chaos resist and damage output rolled into one. That way you get a more dps via iron will and more dps on top from flask at the same time.

I see your idea of having higher ES by getting rid of RF but you also reduced your resists thereby making it a must to run with life leech so your attempt at making you more tanky also makes you do less dps. The tankyness makes you have bigger ES buffer sure, but also makes you mitigate less elemental dmg due to lower resists. Another thing is your argument is that you gain more tank but you also remove increased duration making it even more succeptible to physical dmg due to lack of immortal call duration (lack of increased duration gem). So more ES, now also means takes MORE damage.

If you wish to have more ES toms guide actually leave a lot of room for it. you can replace the boots with mirrored 250-300es boots and get a rare pair of gloves with more es and armor. it also leaves headpiece for more es. if all this should be in place that should place you at 7500 to 8000 es. Toms current gear setup is made for ease of use and accessibility for all.

hizbas recently uploaded his rainbow uber kill with the build clearly showing dps > tankability.

think it is great you made a tribute to toms build and awesome to see so many people iterating and adjusting his idea but it seems to me unclear why you would change it when you seem to loose overall tank and dps. sry for being blunt. ;o)

Tbh i would just stick with the original rainbow nuke build especially since your already playing witch - it is like it is meant to be. ;o)

Where do you take enough dexterity to handle level 20 haste and blood rage?
