Which path should I take?

Hi all!

I've a lvl 57 mara, and I'm in act2 merciless using this build. I'm using 2H maces and this works quite well so far. My main skills are:
- heavy strike for single targets //faster attacks + added fire damage + weapon ele dmg
- leap slam for aoe and mobility //life gain on hit + melee phys dmg + weapon ele dmg
- enduring cry and warlord's mark for charges and life leech

Now I'm trying to decide, which path I should follow. The first one leads into the duelist/ranger area. With this path I gain:
+ 30 str
+ 50 dex
+ 26% 2H melee phys dmg
+ 12% 2H melee attack speed
+ 58% health
+ 8% chaos res
-> using 17 skill points

The second one leads up the templar area, and takes some mace dmg nodes also. With this path I gain:
+ 20 str
+ 20 int
+ 57% mace phys dmg
+ 10% mace stun treshold
+ 34% health
-> using 11 skill points

Of course I will also spend 1 point in elemental adaptation, when I have much resist on my gear to reach the max. At a glance I prefer the first one, for the life bonuses (chaos resistance is nice also), but maybe I will have problems with my damage. So which one is better?
