60+ chaos recipe, no amulets

Hello,
I'm just wondering what others do for the recipe for level 60+ rares. My latest character is now level 77. In completing the entire game (at level 66ish) and doing Piety/Dominus/66maps until level 77, I have found 1 rare amulet. I have 2 stash tabs dedicated to the chaos recipe, full of every single slot, 20+ rings, but 1 amulet. Do I just have terrible luck finding rare amulet or is this how it should be and people just use Alch orbs on white amulets that drop? I keep thinking I'll just use some alch orbs, but than I think, I must just be unlucky and I'm sure one will drop this map. And then nothing. I don't remember ever having such a streak of no amulets with the 15+ characters I got to 75-80... So what do you guys do? |

You are just a bit unlucky. But usually the amulet is the rarest of all components for the recipe...so nothing unusal here.
Alching amulets is a reasonable method to fill up yr recipes. ofc you spend one alch to get one chaos which isnt so nice like getting one chaos for nothing. but sometimes you alch a quite nice amulet which you can sell and break even. :) |

Just keep playing and saving those 2 items (and maybe a few belts) and get the other gear when you have enough amulets and rings. It will even out over time. I alch ilevel 70+ jewelry that i find with perfect implicit rolls (namely resist rings and stat ammys). The bad ones go to chaos recipe, so I am rarely in need of jewelry.

Collect trash rare paua and coral rings - 1 of either of those (IDed or not) with 7 iron rings makes a unID amulet. Personally I normally have trouble with rings as I identify most of the ones with good implicit mods.

I'm the opposite atm more Amulets then rings. Every now and then I end up with more of one than the other until it swings back the other way.
