What is ZiggyD's official relationship with GGG?

What is ZiggyD's official relationship with GGG?


It was my understanding that he was offered a job and refused it for unknown reasons.

He is now recieving preferential treatment (Allowed to produce/monetize Alpha videos) that no other users have.

When the offer to become GGG's employee was refused was there an agreement put in place which allows him to perform the job without direct employment?

Clearly if someone is allowed to be the exclusive provider of information about upcoming content they are going to get views - If they are partnered with Youtube/Twitch this means they will get money.

This allows ZiggyD to perform the job of a content creator for GGG without being directly paid - instead being "paid" with an exclusive resource.

Can a GGG employee please confirm what the professional relationship of ZiggyD to the company is?

Why would they tell you any contract details between them?

While that is true, typically GGG has been a transparent and honest company from what I have seen.

I was just hoping that perhaps they can share what their professional relationship is (if any) and relieve some confusion?

I'm not the first to wonder about this relationship.

is simple i think Ziggy want to be free to stream/try others games , as employee things would be different .

ZiggyD is not the first one to get this preferential treatment you describe. Their was Kripp before, you know. It's just cheap advertisement compared to other marketing means available.

ZiggyD probably declined the employee position because he does not want to move to New Zealand: A requirement for anyone being employed at GGG. So they probably just contracted him for advertisement. Nothing shifty.

The fact that he has a non-controversial reputation in the community compared to Kripp is a bonus they probably considered.

It seems everbody wins here. The players because GGG might not have the time to make extensive videos about upcoming content, GGG because they get some free advertisement and some work off their back, and ZiggyD because it generates views and maybe money for him.

GGG has also shown that they care about integrity. In this case transparency and integrity are conflicting goals.

Just ask ZiggyD yourself would be easier. This thread only confuses the already confused.( ・◇・)？
