strange sinkholes

I am newbee to this game , while i was repeating "THE MUD FLATS" area i came across a STRANGE SINKHOLES twice in different instances ( got these 2 vaal orbs - vaal flamebast,vaal glacial hammer), i just wanted to know if these spawns are limited in an are ( as in 2 strange sinkholes in mud flats) or do they spawn multiple times if i keep generating a new instance of the map !

They are corrupted areas - recently added to the game. There are several different ones that can spawn in different areas of Wreaclast, but overall they can spawn in any normal area except maps. After killing the corrupted area boss the vessel can be opened and will drop either a vaal gem or a fragment; there are 4 different fragment that combined together will unlock the encounter to Atziri - the final boss ( but that will only be possible in Act3 Merciless).

" thanks for the info ,and is it possible to get all the corrupted areas in ACT-I by just generating a new instance of an area , or do i have to go to other areas ! |

One area can only generate one kind of corrupt area, but many base areas have the same corrupt area since there are fewer of them than actual areas. Not sure if its possible to get all in act1. Look at path of exile wiki for more info about different corrupt area. Someone can prob give you a link here or search google for poe wiki(on phone atm and dont remember whole url. Gamepedia.pathofexile something)
