can spell caster have life steal?

can they? i meant if you are marauder and use lightning attack or leap they get life steal but can on my spell caster witch like on freezing pulse can i get life steal and will it work?

Yes, if you use the Life Leech support gem, this works on all forms of damage, not just damage done by attacks.

Don't forget that some monsters are immune to life steal. There is gem that gives you flat amount oof life on hit.
