Misclicked and acccidentally helped Oak

..which, as a level 51 witch, really suck. I haven't gotten the apex yet, and have killed all the other bandit leaders.

Did I just permanently screw this up, can I reset/redo the quest, or what? :(

(Yes, I literally misclicked. Was summoning skeletons to prepare, hit W where he was and talked to him unintentionally, and immediately hit the wrong button.)

...well, that's something, I guess. I mean, one skill point isn't that much of a deal, and I can just continue to play until I have.. 20.. orbs of regret.. It's not like I was going for some super-specific build of inflexibility+2. And so on.

If you use Ethereal Knives, the Physical Damage from Oak will increase your DPS. Sadly, that's the only spell that will benefit.

I know its nitpicking and kinda irrelevant Mark, but you forgot about Glacial Cascade

Why are you mentioning Physical Damage though? At level 51, wouldn't he be in Merciless? :S

It is a little low, unless he rushed there.. But it is WAY overleveled if it is Cruel Act II.. >_<

Oak's reward in cruel is physical damage. I figured that's the reward we were talking about. He is slightly over leveled but I thought it more likely he was in Cruel than way under leveled in Merciless. I may be wrong.

In that case, just talk to him again and kill him.

The only important "help" is the last "help". You can tell Krait you'll help him, kill the other two, then go back and kill Krait, for example.

Sadly, Oak was my last one for Cruel. He does not wish to die, and does not offer it. :(

Guess I'll just take the apex from him and move on with my life, tossing 20 orbs at it if I find myself in need of another passive point. :|

So, was it cruel or merc? The suspense is killing us all!
