Is there a way to disable pet sounds?

Often in a game, you can get rid of specific and annoying sound effects by deleting their wav files. Is there a way to do this in PoE?
I ask because the cat's meow on each area transition annoys the crap out of me. The scorpion skittering sound, while neat at first, has slowly grown irritating as well. It's enough that I don't want to have the pets out, when I paid good points to acquire them. I don't see any wav files in the Path of Exile directory, but are there tools for packing/unpacking the assets? |

buy the flaming fox! I got kiwi and roa's and they make annoying sounds as well I've noticed I usually go for the fox as he makes no -or at-least not so loud- sound.

I usually have all sounds disabled and just listen to music, but you could try disabling the ambient sound only. I think that includes pets (not in my PC atm SSSI can't test it, but worth a shot).

Hm, why have it summoned when you dont want the sound? Its like preventing your dog from barking because you rather pet him than hear him bark.
