[Not a Bug] - Corrupt Void Eye Unsockable
![]() Corrupting Void Eye made the gem unsocketable. This is a bug. It just is, first a vaal orb should not make an item worst. And if you think the socket should be removed then the +5 to gems you can no longer socket should also be removed. Vaal gems have been around for a few months now. It took you this long to figure out they can make an item worse? And that once an item is corrupted, it can no longer be modified in any way? This is not a bug. It's working exactly as intended and explained for 2 months.
That ring is the single worst thing you can corrupt. Because a successful corruption changes the implicit mod. The implicit mod on this ring is an open socket. So your best case scenario is that the Vaal Orb does nothing. Why do something with no upside? The implicit mod of the unset ring type is that it has a socket. If you corrupt an item and replace it's implicit mod with a different one, then it looses the property of having a socket, and gains the new implicit mod in it's place.

My condolences OP.
I have a question for you though: The flammability you are granted when wearing this ring, is it level 14 or level 19? My supporter items: Victario's Charity and The Forsaken
