Alpha's howl - what to build ?
|
The RNGods smiled kindly upon me and dropped this:
I was going to sell it so I could buy an aegis aurora, but my incinerator is doing well without it (rathpith is a great shield). Sure the build would do better with it, but I don't _need_ one, it's just a nice to have. Furthermore, * it's 1% off of a perfect roll. * in all my stashes in all the leagues, I only have the one. And I try to make it a rule that I always keep a unique I only have 1 of ;-) Except for veil of the night, of course. That gets turned into chance orbs. So I think I really should keep it and make a build around it. The most obvious build is an elemental buzzsaw which I am thinking would really be a lot of fun. I had looked at that build before and thought "that would be fun", but I need an alpha's. Well, now I have one. Any other suggestions for other builds that could take advantage of the alpha's ? Thanks. |

I would just go with the elesaw. You have the most important piece and its a game crushing build. You won't be let down.

I have a buzzsaw, she's crap as hell, no howl, 1500 dps, abysmal resistances, but it's indeed fun and fast gameplay with very good mobility. You can go for it :)
Ranger builds list: /917964 When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch? If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch. Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart... Last edited by Panini_aux_olives#1967 on May 13, 2014, 3:21:37 PM

I think it's the way to go.
I like the way it gets that great offensive boost from alpha's howl. i like the mobility of the elesaw, nothing would make me happier than to whirl everywhere, it's one of my favorite skills. i sure wish you could make it a main skill, but you can't :-( Gonna keep searching the forums, but elesaw looks like a great way to go. |

" kind of a funny one too. the leader had started the instance on short allocation. it was _my_ drop, i didn't ninja, but i had to pick it up right away, or else it would have been somebody elses. Luckily my inventory wasn't full, i've lost a unique to inventory bounce before, but it was just about full. Had I have picked up a couple of more items before I picked that up I would have almost certainly lost it. It was kind of chaos at the time :-) |
