Anybody have an easy system for publishing PoE videos on Youtube?
|
I wanted to put up some videos of my Glacial Hammer duelist and maybe write up a build guide. Ideally I'd like to be able to add music on top of the sound to the video without having to re-encode the whole thing.
Anybody have some program/service suggestions? IGN: Ikimashouka, Tsukiyattekudasai, DontCallMeMrFroyo

Unless you play music while you're recording, and still manage to make the video small enough to upload to YouTube without it taking 15 years, there is no other way besides re-rendering the raw file.
If you use Fraps, the raw files are too big. If you use Open Broadcaster, the files are a decent size but can still be made smaller (and you want to edit it anyway, right?) Why don't you want to encode it? if it takes too long let it run overnight. |

Dude, just use Windows Movie Maker or any free program.
It's way faster to edit/convert locally than to upload the raw file. Last edited by feyith#0081 on May 10, 2014, 4:11:03 PM

Yeah, I'm starting to realize that the time for youtube to process my video might be the real bottleneck here, just woke up to find it's still processing my 40gb raw video file.
Thanks for suggesting Open Broadcaster, I'll try that one out. IGN: Ikimashouka, Tsukiyattekudasai, DontCallMeMrFroyo

40GB lol. OBS is good. Really easy to make vids with.

" Yes. I've used MSI Afterburner for recording, incredible amount of options so you can optimize the size of your video, I did it so my videos were around half size or more compared to using the shitty FRAPS. And then, load up the video into the WMM, put some music in the background and save the file. Overall size will be greatly reduced. |

I've been using NVIDIA shadow play for recording. Sizes of files are incredibly small.

" True. Nvidia Shadow Play is great. I accidentally pressed it's keybound for recording a couple times, didn't even notice it was recording. Then I found the files some days later and they were pretty good quality aswell. "just for try, for see and for know"
