Linking items in trade chat - wrong items show up

I sell items in trade chat. In the past 2 or 3 days I've suddenly been getting bombarded with messages because in chat people see my message as selling Bringer of Rain for 15 chaos or other such ridiculous prices. The message I send looks fine to me, and when I send the message to guild chat instead of trade they've assured me it looks fine as well. Between that and the intermittent nature of the bug I thought I'd never be able to get a proper bug report together.

Then today I was watching more carefully as I messaged different channels in trade chat, and I was able to spot a bad message. Detailed description of the process and screenshots:

1. Open stash tab of items to sell.
2. Go to /trade 1.
2. Link each item one by one with a price on each. The message I was using in this instance was this:

$WTS 248% 5-Link Marohi Erqi, Karui Maul 4.5ex, 5-Link Carcass Jack, Varnished Coat 3.5ex, Lioneye's Glare, Imperial Bow 1.5ex, Rat's Nest, Ursine Pelt 32c, 20% Righteous Fire 25c, Saffell's Frame, Branded Kite Shield 18c

3. Submit the message to trade 1, then go to /trade 2.
4. Press up twice to retrieve the message sent to previous trade channel, and send it.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to message more trade channels.

I understand that if I move the items around in my stash it will cause the links to refer to different items; I have been trading for a long time and have learned well not to do that. The items were not touched in the process of steps 3-5 above, yet here are some images of my messages in different trade channels mismatching:

My message to trade 14 followed by my message to trade 15. In trade 15 the last two item links turned into the same ones as the first two for no apparent reason. This pattern seems to be typical, when people message me it's usually asking for one of my first-listed (highest-priced) items at the price of one of my last listed (lowest-priced) items. The message to trade 16 is bizarrely back to normal, despite the fact that in trade 16 I pressed up twice which should have reused the (faulty) message from trade 15. This is why I didn't notice the bad messages before: it's probably only one or two in the middle of a string of messages and by the time I get whispers about it I'm way deeper in the trade channels and my message is back to looking normal. Perhaps sending a message too fast and getting "Please wait before sending another message in trade chat." is involved?
