Thornrunner (Hidden Patch boss) -- What the hell, GGG?

I don't know how hard this boss is in higher difficulties, but I just fought it in normal and it's just plain stupid. It's stupidly fast (so you might not know that this thing is apparently called Thornrunner), punctures you (screwed if you run), casts Rain of Spikes (screwed if you stand still), and now has a power shield, so standard ranged attacks are useless.

Seriously, who thought this was a good idea? Like I said, I can't say it's hard, but it's definitely a stupid fight.

This is not a new boss.

The Power Shield seems to be a new addition, though, unless Vaal zone bosses randomly spawn with Nemesis mods (which is just plain evil if you roll Corrupting Blood).

Also, doesn't matter so much that it's new as it does that it's still really stupid.

"power shield" is not new

The only problem with retarded snake is, that it may take you up to a half an hour to kill.

As the rest said, there's nothing new about this boss.
