GGG - Show money spent on PoE?!

Hey all! I know for some of you you have the "Supporter" tag on your name in the forums and all. But wouldn't it be cool if GGG implemented a way to display how much each account has actually spent/donated to the game?

Even on player inspects in the game, "$X Spent." - Just a thought. Then maybe they could add rewards for spending tiers without having to spend points! - Rewards you can't get through points, if you know what I mean...

Tier 1 - Spend $50 - Get "X"
Tier 2 - Spend $100 - Get "X"
Tier 3 - Spend $150 - Get "X"
etc. etc. etc.

Lol, so people can throw someone's opinion out the window because they spent more on Path of Exile than another? No thanks.

There will be avatar options, and maybe forum title options for payment however. At least I believe so.

I don't think it really matters. Plus it could only have downsides to with players downing other players that play the game free.

First of all even if players do not provide money to GGG they help grow the player base, they help make a robust and stable economy, and finally they add to the community. Not all value can be added up to a dollar amount.

Now if we're talking about an option to personally see how much you have spent in your account option I don't see anything wrong with that.

I don't mind showing I spent fifty dollars in CB but I feel this kind of detail being made available is wise and it could easily be illegal in many jurisdictions due to privacy laws.

I personally do not care how much anyone has paid other than myself. To let each pay as he is able or willing to in proportion to the amount of value the game provides that person is the business model GGG has chosen.

I do not mind expressing I thought it was worth fifty US dollars but that means nothing to anyone but me.

Hmm, tying each account to a dollar value? No thanks, this community is already having a hard time getting over the "voluntary" monetary support some people have offered, and lately that includes some of those supporters as well...

Seems nothing but pure bad could come of it.

It shows in game when you are wearing the effects that you are supporting the game on a finacial level

Nah, thats kinda silly.
You can already see how much was spent by looking at a player character ingame and measure how much he glows in the dark.
