Idea for PoE Forums - PoE Gold (Like Reddit Gold, but cash shop points)

Would it be possible to create a system in your forum where people could gift cash shop points to other people who make great posts that really contribute to the community or discussion at hand?
Seems like a great way to encourage quality forum content and more community involvement by letting players give each other kudos in a way that lets them improve their account. Also seems like a way to increase your revenue, helping keep PoE alive. For those who don't use Reddit, Reddit Gold is a system where you can gift people one month of some extra site features for making especially good posts. It encourages good posting by providing a means for the community to reward each other, and provides an additional revenue stream for the owners of Reddit. The way it could work in the PoE forum is by giving PoE Gold-awarded posts a special backdrop in your CSS scheme to make them stand out and a symbol showing how many times the post had been Gilded. The reward could be fixed at the $5 level to be more accessible to more people. It is easy then to conceptualize that you are rewarding a quality poster with an extra stash slot or character slot of their choosing. The poster could of course just save the points up if they wanted to. I'm sure lots of players would love to give you more money and are just looking for the right excuse to do so. If just the OP knew most on reddit organize it with his buddies cheating their reward system hihi. (regardless of the good content inside)
We have to wait a couple months when official is out and beta status closed, before idiots leave and we can start to read good posts. Coins aren't and never will be tradeable in game, so naturally they shouldn't be tradeable outside of the game.
