Fastest Hitting Attack and Fastest Hitting Spell?

What spells and attacks do the most hits in the shortest time?

I'm thinking firestorm must be one of them. What are the others?

spell- flame totem, incinerate
attack * barrage, frenzy if you use it more than once

Double strike, hits twice per swing/mana cost, so LGOH has two chances to give back 54 life per attack.

With my 9+ attacks per second, I'm leeching 18 X 54 X melee splash 20% per second. Haven't tried frenzy or other attack speed increases because it's already incredibly effective and keeping me alive.

Haste + double strike: modded with: multistrike, faster attacks and the max possible frenzy charges is the fastest i can think of
