Locked hotkey binding for weapon swap.

I posted this yesterday in the feedback forum and got no replies so maybe this might be a better place for it.
I'm not sure if this suggestion has been posted before. I know there is a lot of interest in rebinding the middle mouse button but what I was wondering was would it be possible to lock the QWERT hotkeys for each weapon set you use. Whenever I weapon swap with x I usually have to rebind one or two of the QWERT hotkeys with a particular skill, which is a bit annoying. Would it be possible to say use something like shift + left click on a skill to keybind that skill for the weapon setup that you are currently using so that when you weapon swap you could quickly have 2 different sets of hotkeyed skills mapped to your QWERT keys? This would help with say changing from a wand caster build to a bow or 1 handed build quickly. What do you guys think good idea or bad idea? IGN: Fezzik_ Last bumped on Jul 14, 2017, 3:49:27 AM

Please... allow us to set one hotbar configuration for weapon set #1 and another for weapon set #2 where the hotbar remembers what we've set when hitting X multiple times.

This is a desperately necessary change. Weapon swapping as it is currently leaves much to be desired.

I had been thinking about this for a while while running a SnB duelist with a secondary set that used RoA with a bow of course. The current system meant i either had to keep my main skills in my armor and stuff or rebind my mouse keys everytime i switched sets.
One thing that i switched was the weapon swap key to the spacebar so i would run in with viperstrike, apply charges, switch sets run away and unleash a storm of arrows, when charges expired or enemy was dead i would switch back. |

" It kind of already is, as long as skills are "paired" between the two weapon sets. For example, suppose you use Rain of Arrows on your bow setup for damage and Lacerate for your sword setup: simply put RoA on the bow and Lacerate in the sword and you can swap between the two seamlessly. You may sometimes need something of a dummy skill or filler skill if there are no analogues. Golem skills work great for this as they work exactly like Move Only if on left click and if you are not pressing Shift. (So, suppose you wanted Vigilant Strike or Viper Strike on left click with sword, but Move Only with bow. Socket VS in the sword and any golem skill of your choosing, assign VS to left click and the golem to left click on swap and you'll have your wish granted.) You could also put gems you want to level, like 20% quality gems, in the dummy spots, so you don't feel like the socket is wasted. Long story short, the system works pretty much perfectly if you keep common skills outside of the weapons, and differing skills inside the weapons. What specific setup are you trying to do?
