Does Rain of Arrows work with the Point Blank Shot keystone?

Rain of Arrows with Point Blank Shot keystone.

Do these mechanics work together?
I dont believe so. I think point blank works on projectiles and rain is a spell. I need confirmation on that tho.
Rain of arrows is an attack, not a spell, but i don't think it counts as a projectile attack
Rain of Arrows (RoA) is an attack, not a spell, but it still isn't affected by Point Blank. RoA doesn't actually fire any projectiles, it just creates an Area of Effect, so anything that affects projectile damage/speed wont do anything.

Edit: Neutron beat me.

seems it does work. cool
Rain of Arrows is an attack and bases its damage on your Bow.
Rain of Arrows is a Projectile and gains benefits from SOME Projectile supports and passives.
Rain of Arrows is affected by Point Blank Shot, where the damage taken by the monster is determined by its distance from you.

Odd. Considering how particular this game is with terminology, I wouldn't have thought it would work, but if Mark says it does, I'd go with that.

That's the problem: RoA isn't tagged as Projectile, just Attack, Bow and AoE. If it's going to benefit from things like Point Blank, shouldn't it have the Projectile tag?
If it is a projectile does the support gem multi projectiles work with it? I understand why chain and for wouldnt due to the.arrows landing in the ground
