[3.3] √ SeaLaser, Arc Elementalist, Critical Strikes, MoM



The 3.2 build was pretty similar to my old 2.1 build as gameplay, but more focused on life, critical strikes and damage. I don't play double curse and shock atm.

Played with Tendrils as main damage spell and Arc as main mass spell in 3.2.

With the 3.3 patch I removed Tendrils and playing only Arc, because they make the same damage against single target now. Arc is too strong now compared to the other lightning skill gems.

It's a leveling build, not tought for the highest contents or hardcore. I have to test high end maps.
With this build you can play all the maps, and all the map mods, pretty fast.

COMMENTS

Played from 99 to 100 (the last 25%) with the 3.3 patch, playing tier 11-15 maps.

Paragon of Calamity Ascendency combos with the Coil, I had the luck to find a 6 off colors Lightning Coil at cheap price. I don't suggest it, because it could be very expensive and maybe it's not the best choice.

The best could be a shaped armour and energy rare chest with crit and damage taken as lightning.

Still no elder, no t16, I focused on leveling. I will test them soon. Stay tuned.

Some updates, lvl 88 reached and tested without Unweavering Stance, it doesn't seem a good idea.

Leveling gems and try to make a 6L to see the what is max damage, I think it could to rise a lot with GG items.

Whats with the life leech on like all your attack spells?

Isnt one life leech enough?

Also no faster casting on storm call? wouldnt an extra mark add more dps than added lightning? Or remove the life leech on it?
To take all the advantage of the Vaal Pact, I can stack multiple attacks and leech istant with all of them, then I have not life regeneration, and more leech helps my crazy gamestyle. :)

Faster Casting on Storm Call is very good, maybe has a better gameplay but a slightly lower dps than added lightning damage, at least with 0% quality.

getting crit on arc seems pointless since its only a 4% skill.
that is legit consideration, but potentially you can have 200% increased critical chance with just wand and shield, 60% chance and 50% multiplier with just three points in the shadow side, that nodes rise a good dps also without crit on wand and shield.

A 15-30% total critical chance should be nice with GG items, and critical hits shock monsters too. Of course this build normally should to get spell damage and cast speed, before crit, that depend of items you find.

Not critique, just out of curiosity:
Is the 8+8+12% lightning damage with 2% cast speed better than the three 10% elemental damage nodes in Shadow?
Do you really need Vaal Pact and US? That's a ton of skillpoints for those two.
