Fire and Lightning Witch Totem

I was thinking about using the damage amplification from Shock and the damage overtime from Ignite to farm for gear safely in Hardcore.

Some questions though


Does Critical % Chance affect Totems? Does Spell % Chance?

Does "On Hit" modifiers on the skill tree affect whenever the element is present or only on auto attacks?

Do Totems get increased damage from stuff like Searing Touch unique?


Do Totems get increased AoE damage and damage area from AoE nodes?

Does burn damage from ignite stack with DOT damage from Fire Trap?

Does increase cast speed nodes work on Totems casting their abilities?

Does Life Leech work with Physical spells casted by Totems? (Example: Ethereal Knives)

Can I get more confirmation?

I see the logic behind life leech applying to the totem, but not about the Crit chance. If gear affects totems, why wouldn't Crit Chance since they're affected by it. If this still holds true, how would totems ever freeze targets or apply the crit effects (Amp and Burn)?
