How to cast 2 Auras and have enough mana to cast with CI build
|
I thought about that build:
+80 to maximum Mana +185 to maximum Mana (from Intelligence) 360% increased Mana Regeneration Rate 248% increased maximum Mana 49% reduced Mana Cost of Skills 41% reduced Mana Reserved 62% increased effect of Auras or better this? +40 Mana thanks to Bandit +80 to maximum Mana +241 to maximum Mana (from Intelligence) 220% increased Mana Regeneration Rate 248% increased maximum Mana 64% reduced Mana Cost of Skills 41% reduced Mana Reserved 24% increased Radius of Auras In this way I could to play a CI Freezing Pulser with TWO Auras, Clarity and Discipline, with a lesser multiple of course, because of the new mana leech mechanics, adding a Mana Leech gem and a Lavianga's Flask when I meet the mods: no mana regeneration or 50% slower, what do you think? Maybe a Reduced Mana gem could to help to manage mana with a 6L... You can use mana flasks...
Both those trees are way overkill in mana nodes, you even gave up es and damage nodes so you end up with just a lot of mana and no damage or survivability. Discipline+clarity is barely anything in terms of mana reserve for an endgame build, and most builds even run a second or third %aura. You just need to: -Link your auras to a reduced mana gem, and grab 10-20% reduced mana reservation in the tree. -Get mana regen on gear, jewelry in particular. Dream fragments+rainbow stride also give a pretty big chunk of extra mana since you're going CI. My builds: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1629242

it is easily possible to run clarity, discipline and tempest shield or a resistance aura with just some passive nodes, souvereignty and Influence solves most mana problems, along with some reg on tree and items.

Just get mana reduction nodes & reduced mana gems, i'm running 3 auras + a low lv clarity, if i really wanted to i could run 4+ easily as a CI (i don't because i don't want to give up my current helm for an alpha's howl).
How much mana you have won't change much since it's % reserved, but reduced mana nodes and reduced mana gems will change it a lot (get those 60% mana reservation gems down to like 20%) |

can you run auras with 50% mana slower or no mana regeneration mods of the maps? I speak about end game maps, level 20 gems, etc.
At the moment on 50% slower I'm using only 1 aura (clarity) and on no mana regen I don't use auras. P.S. I'm using a lesser pulse in a 6L with life leech and mana leech gems. not sure if serious ...
You don't need to spend more than 20% of your tree for resources management usually. Couple of points : - you are showing 120 points skill tree .... which never happen unless you are amongst the 0.001% of the population reaching level 100 + you kill all three bandits in each difficulty. - There is almost nothing to survive in the trees there - There is almost nothing to boost any kind of damage and you're not going for a low lie Aura toon apparently. This is an example of a generic crit oriented CI build that should be able to ignore mana problems. With it you should be able to run Discipline + one 40% aura + another 60% aura + clarity, or even 2 60% auras in addition to discipline and clarity, and easily cast quite mana hungry spells. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
