Avatar of Fire Viable?

Hey guys, im dying like crazy in invasion league.. If i'll die again, i'll probably try something "new", like Avatar of Fire Infernal Blow build.
Do u think it's viable?

Btw, i few variants. Which one is most viable with AoF in your opinion?

1st: Infernal Blow, Melee splash, Added Fire damage, Weapon Elemental damage, Increased Burning Damage, Chance to ignite

2nd: Infernal Blow, Melee splash, Added Fire damage, Melee Physical damage, Weapon Elemental Damage, Faster Attacks

3rd: Infernal Blow, Melee splash, Added Fire damage, Melee Physical damage, Faster Attacks, Multistrike

With the new changes to leech that's hardly a problem.
There is no mitigation against phys dmg, but mobs have up to 75% fire resist. So either you penetrate the fire resist or you deal more dmg wihtout AoF.

Yeah, all i got is 2% life leech from passive tree. But late game u can get more leech from your gear. 2% mana leech from one ring, would be enough, lategame, with this kind of damage.

That node and gear work off physical damage, of which you will be dealing none.

I don't know about Invasion viability, but...

In all cases replace Added Fire Damage with Melee Physical Damage. 20-39% vs 30-49%. You'll almost certainly want Fire Penetration in there somewhere, too, for those curse immune/curse resistant monsters.

If you're not taking advantage of ignite/burn in some way or another, you are losing dps in the hard fights by switching from physical to fire damage.

I guess this might be solution: Infernal Blow, Melee Splash, Melee Physical Damage, Weapon Elemental Damage, Life leech, Faster Attacks
If i'll need fire penetration, i will replace Weapon Elemental Damage with Fire penetration

You're better off replacing Faster Attacks. Weapon Elemental Damage is a straight multiplier, whereas increased attack speed from Faster Attacks stacks with increased attack speed from non-weapon gear and passives.

Of course, this leaves you with no way to ignite things beyond a critical hit.
