The release date sucks though, the accessibility sounds really stupid (it'll hurt the game, but it won't break it), Black Armour edition makes no sense, and they spent more than a million on advertising.
But that's my cynicism kicking in. Everything else done on part of the devs look great, and Dark Souls 2 is mostly shaping up to be a faithful sequel. Although, it seems the publisher is doing some really stupid stuff. At least it's not as outrageous as some of the other things companies have done. I'm not going to be able to afford to buy it right away...I really wanted the collectors edition ='(

" It looks more like Demon's Souls 2 without the problems of both Dark Souls and Demon's Souls imo. Although, I believe Dark Souls 1 will be the most unique experience I ever had in gaming. The game's lore was deep, cryptic, and buried, it's main story line not much different, it's bosses unique and awesome, created hellish experiences and sadistic moments (blighttown first run, plus more), and had some extremely great art design. Although, it wasn't without it's flaws. Dark Souls 2 is shaping up to be great, but the publisher is being kinda stupid. This wont be, considering they've made it for pc then "ported" it to consoles. So this time It will be allot more smooth.
Though I kinda grew found of keyboard mashing my way through dark souls, took some more time to get use to. But as we all know, when you've played a x+ hours It's inside of your head forevah! When a banker jumps out of a window, jump after him, that's where the money is.

" Other than bad graphics and controls, plus some compatibility issues with Windows 8, the game was pretty solid. Not to mention every one of those were easily fixed. What really sucks the worst is the DS2 forums. Everywhere I see it's a fanboy or a hater, calling each other their respective titles. But the irony is that they're both right. I also hope the game doesn't go mainstream, since if that happens Bamco will probably milk the game more, and the community will become trash.
