the gem is odd in the fact that it teleports enemies, but how many enemies can it teleport? does also dmg nearby enemies at both ends, or only the target? might be decent endgame with large mobs depending on how many can port and if it keeps its aoe property.

used it a bit more now, the skill idea is good, but how it actually works out is rather poorly. Damage that is dealt before and after the teleportation seems to only occur on the individual monsters, if this is not supposed to be the case, then the range is so minimal that it doesnt hit enough enemies. The damage needs to be able to occur 4 times. When transported, when they are in range of another enemy being transported, when they land, and when an enemy lands within range. Otherwise its basically just a strategic gem, with enemies only getting hurt twice. Also not sure about the delay thing, its SUPPOSED to be OP because its a vaal gem. why would it even have an interval? lock on time?

other than that fact, its pretty damn fun. the charge of 32 seems okish, tho i would prefer 24 - 28 just to speed it up a tidbit if no aoe increase will go into it. Definitely needs to be able to hold more charges, but mines level 2 and might get more later on, idk if it works that way. tho with only 2 hits on a limited number of enemies, 32 seems slightly high for a more tactical skill.

On a positive note, the skill seems to work perfectly with my build. once i get higher level i will most likely use lightning warp into mobs, then shock nova enemies around me (conc aoe). blocking and shocking any who hit me (tempest shield block spec), and once im fully charged, launch the surrounding mob into a nearby one to focus em into one. I was originally hoping for that no interval light warp, but this seems much more interesting and will be much better with a few tweaks. planned for one build, and got a better one, nicely done GGG.

PS. from experimenting with monkeys, i think its launching 13 of them.

Fun skill but the area around you that determines which mobs are teleported is ridiculously tiny, its radius is like the size of unmodified RF seriously, unusable like this.

unusable is such an OVERused term. it just needs a larger area to grab from, like grabbing all nearby enemies rather than enemies adjacent to you. like i said earlier, im using it easily enough because im gettin into mobs, but i think the initial idea is to get mobs OFF of you, however this is poorly designed if this is true, because by the time the delay finishes your probably dead. unless you port them directly in front of you.

Does increased aoe expand the grab radius?
Storm Call / caster / nuker Scion, currently level 30 ish, still in normal.

Just my luck, got one of these a few minutes after posting my question above. All I can say is: FINALLY. A true control skill! What the hell took so long, GGG? I love it.

16 charges on normal; will be phenomenal if it goes down to 8 higher up (what's the formula for that, or is it per skill?). The warp delay makes it a bit awkward; hopefully reduced duration can help when I get one. Not especially deadly on it's own, but combined with Storm Call (and, I imaging, traps and mines) this is an incredible way to get rid of melee swarms. Set us up the bomb, get the swarm's attention, then port them on top of it. Makes for one big boom and helps keep it charged as well. Depending on how the charges scale with difficulty, I could see making a build around this skill. The only vaal skill I've tried so far with that potential, and good to see.

I'd say this is a must have for any kiting build, and has some great synergy with certain offensive skills on top of that. Nicely done.
It requires more souls to use as you increase in difficulty, not less.

16 normal
24 cruel
32 merciless

Arg you are right :(

I take it all back. None of these skills are powerful enough to justify their limited uses and the socket cost. Even if they 1 hit everything on the screen, being limited to a half dozen uses per clear doesn't cut it, to say nothing of boss fights.
