If the only way for crafting those rings after the patch is getting white rings and chancing all needed 3 for the taming then gl on that lol.Thats a nice secret way of currency sinking :)

I believe they mentioned that although the Prismatic Rings were not going to drop as base items and will now have to be crafted from two-stone rings, the unique Prismatic Rings would still be available. The Taming (and the 3 component rings) aren't the only unique Prismatics.
They weren't specifically mentioned in the patch notes, but I imagine that they are still available. I would hope they would have specifically said they were not if that were the case. |

We would need some GGG confirmation on this.

" My guess is that the other unique prismatic rings (Lori's Lantern and Thief's Torment) will only be available by using Orbs of Chance on crafted prismatic rings. The result is easy to predict : a price increase for those 2 unique rings. " Berek's rings are Two-Stone Rings, not Prismatic Rings. The Taming and the two Velkor mentioned are the only Prismatic Rings. same name in-game

Come on GGG we need some clarification on this topic.

Considering : "Unique items that were exclusive to Domination and Nemesis can no longer drop" and from what Ive read about Gifts from Above (doesnt drop, and cant be chanced), then only those who allready have the pieces can craft it.

" There was clarification, and understanding drop mechanics would answer this as well. Prismatics won't drop. Non-Retired Prismatic Uniques will still drop (Thief's Torment, Lori's Lantern.) Berek's Rings won't drop. Taming will be craftable, using the Retired Legacy Berek's Rings. An Items Rarity is rolled after it's Item Type is rolled, but before the Base Item Type is selected. Which is why Unique Maps, which can be above Map Level 66, can drop in non-Map Zones. So a Ring posed to drop will roll Rarity, if it will drop as a Unique, it will then roll among the possible Unique Rings.
