Cannot gift cosmetics to friends

Pretty much it,
since i didnt find any post about it and the "theme" didnt quite match any other subforum, i can only assume that the inability to gift a friend with a silly pet or an AWESOME SUMON STATUE SKIN or even odd shaped copper coins (whats the name of those cash points?) is a very odd bug that maybe others are facing to kiddings aside, i think im not the only one who like to gift friends with games cosmetics for their birthdays, i actually feels they make great little gifts indeed anyway, just putting some thoughts here, a shame it wont be up (if ever will) till february 11 cheers This thread has been automatically archived. Guess that is an intentional decission by GGG. If you could gift stuff of the microtransaction-shop, you could aswell start trading with it, and we would be closer to a pay to win scenario. :\

i cannot see how that would happen, i mean, their cosmetics are thruly only for apearance, doesent offer any ingame advantage
if one player start 'trading' cosmetics for other itens i dont see how thats closer to a pay2win scenario (more like pay-2b-pretty lol) not to say that im suggesting gifting only, not trading (trade consist on a windows where both players must accept the trade; in gifting, one player just send the item to another player, thus making the trading of cosmetics much more risky (one could not honor his part of the 'deal) i wish they brought some light to us upon this... |

Well, I would like the gift-option myself, just thinking that this may be somewhat abused for trading. On the other hand, people might just go and sell their items on ebay if there is a demand.

But afaict i dont see how that related to cosmetics can somehow ruins the game balance or something |

What would happen if they would allow to give away shop items?
On the very next day there were criminals buying points with stolen credit cards and selling items for cash on ebay. They don´t have enough employees to waste time with that bullshit. hmm, if you could only gift friends that has been on your friends list for at least a month would inhibit the gifting merchandising maybe? |

register an account, load it up with your credit card, give your friend the account details to his birthday.
