Question on aura reservation and calculations

For the purpose of calculations, I'm using the example of a build with 46% reduced reservation from the skill tree, the 8% reduced reservation from Alpha's Howl, the 25% reduced reservation from Prism Guardian, and linking a Reduced Mana gem to most auras. All gems are assumed to be max level.

The ten auras I'm looking at are:

Determination - 60%
Grace - 60%
Discipline - 60%
Haste - 60%
Hatred - 60%
Purity of Elements - 40%
Purity of Fire - 40%
Purity of Ice - 40%
Purity of Lightning - 40%
Vitality - 40%

Calculations:

Prism Guardian: Determination / Grace / Discipline
60% * 3 = 180%
180% * 0.21 = 37.8%

Alpha's Howl: Purity of Fire / Purity of Ice / Purity of Lightning / Reduced Mana
40% * 3 = 120%
120% * 0.46 = 55.2%
55.2% * 0.71 = 39.192% from mana

Boots or Gloves: Haste / Hatred / Reduced Mana
60% * 2 = 120%
120% * 0.46 = 55.2%
55.2% * 0.71 = 39.192%

Boots or Gloves: Vitality / Purity of Elements / Blood Magic Gem / Reduced Mana
40% * 2 = 80%
80% * .46 = 36.8%
36.8% * 1.25 = 46%

Life reserved: 83.8%

Mana reserved: 78.384%

Are my calculations correct with the given example? If not, how is reservation and all of it's modifiers calculated?

Problems with that site:

1. It doesn't account for the Blood Magic gem.

2. It doesn't have separate options for increased reservation from items to accuractly account for how much you have. This means you have to have prior knowledge, which I do.

There is a reason why I specifically DON'T use it.

However, according to the site I should be reserving:

39% from the gems listed in Prism Guardian. I calculated 37.8%.

39% from the gems listed in Alpha's Howl. I calculated 39.192%.

40% from the gems listed in the first "Boots or Gloves". I calculated 39.192%.

?% from the gems listed in the second "Boots or Gloves", as the website cannot calculate that. I calculated 46%.

The website does nothing.

All Mana Reserved costs are rounded off for each individual aura. If you calculated an Aura was going to use 39.12 it's rounded up to 40, if you have 2 Aura's at 39.12 each that 40+40, 80 total Reserved.

That's why no matter what numbers you put into that calculator you life/mana totals are always in multiples of 10. Because it's doing the rounding off for you. The numbers from the site are accurate.

EDIT: Also you have to do your Mana and Life Reserved seperate with it obviously. Put in you mana total and the aura's you will be running off mana. Then put in you life and the aura's you will be running off life. It will will give you accurate, rounded, numbers for both.

In the end, I'd have 84% life and 80% mana reserved?

Just enter your total reduced mana reserved from your items and skill tree into the skill tree line. If you have 46 from tree and 8 from Alpha's howl you have 54% to all your Aura's. To figure the Aura's in your shield add another 25 and put 79 in the "from the skill tree line"

Too figure out total from life put in 54 and the aura's you will be running off your blood magic gems. That will get you a % reserved and total life reserved for those aura's. Then put in 79 and the aura's from your shield and get those numbers, add them together and you get your total life reserved.

Assuming all Reduced Mana gems are level 20 i get.

Prism Guardian Aura's = 39% of your Life

Boot/Glove Aura's = 52% of your Life (I think, Blood Magic is Tricky)

Boot/Gloves = 40% of your Mana

Alpha's Howl = 39% of your Mana

That would be 91% of your Life - 79% of your Mana - If your Reduced Mana gems are Level 20

OK, the 2 40%'s with the Blood Magic Gems is tricky, level 18 Blood Magic would exactly double the cost, So 52% with a level 18 Gem, maybe 50 with a level 20 gem, but remember it always rounds up for each aura so my guess would be 52.
