You might want to use pierce instead of chain. In that case remember to grab the pierce talent.

AoE Attack 4-link: Split arrow added fire damage, pierce (or chain), faster attack

Buy slitherpinch or wurm's molt for mana + life leech. If you find that you do not survive enough add the gem 'life gain on hit'.

5 link add increased critical damage.
6 link add increased critical strikes (or Power charge on critical, which requires a bit of respeccing, including bandit respecc -> power charge instead of frenzy charge)

Single target attack 4-Link: Frenzy + physical projectile attack damage + added fire damage + faster attack

5 link add increased critical strikes
6 link add culling strike / something else.

Always link your AoE attack with the best setup you got. So if you get your hands on a 5 link bow, use split arrow in your bow and a 4 link setup for frenzy.

Other gear: Go for evasion, hp, maximum resistance first. Diamond rings for crit chance, focus on damage with your quiver.

4 good somewhat cheap unique items that are highly useful:

Slitherpinch
Wurm's Molt (life steal, mana steal)
The blood dance (boots that gives you a high hit point regeneration and a few other benefits)
Maligaro's Virtuosity: Pure damage gloves. Not that important if your other gear is not good enough (ie. if you dont have enough resistance / hp without these gloves don't use them).

Other important gem setups:
Hatred (aura) + Grace (Aura) + Reduced mana
Cast when damage taken (gem lvl 5) + Immortal call (gem lvl 6) + increased duration (gem lvl 20) + Enfeeble (gem lvl 7)

And some good curses:
Temporal chains: Slows enemies. Good for archers ;)
Enfeeble: Makes enemies weaker
Critical weakness: Makes you crit more and your critical hits will do more damage
Projectile weakness: Pierce chance, knockback and overall more damage to cursed targets.

Which stats to look for on your gear:

Helmet: Evasion, hp, resistance.
Chest: get a high number of links, high evasion, hp resistance.
Boots: Movement speed, resistance, hp (or the blood dance. The hp-regen is really good)
Gloves: Attack speed, hp, resistance, evasion, physical damage
Bow: physical damage per second (pdps) > all. A slow hard hitting bow is also nice, since you will go out of mana slower then, but do more damage per mana point spend. If you can get your hands on a bow that has increased critical chance it would be nice. Harbinger bows are the best, but also expensive.
Quiver: I would suggest you look for damage here. Critical damage chance, critical multiplier, hp, physical damage and Mana / life leech (the last are really nice)
Belt: If you have enough life / mana leech use a rustic sash (+24% physical damage) with hp and resistance.
Amulet: Life leech, increased damage multiplier, physical dmg, resistance, hp.
Rings: Try to use diamond rings, but use resistance rings if your resistance is not max'ed out yet. Mana leech, physical damage, hp, resistance, critical chance, critical multiplier. Basically on your rings a lot of good stuff may occur :)

Last gear notes:
resistance+ hp > damage, but not to extreme degrees. Try to balance between survivability and damage output.
Thanks!!!!
how is this a farming build there is no IIR nor IIQ in i at all

imho, a bow ranger is is not the best choice for farming. There are cheaper alternatives.

When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch?
If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch.
Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart...

It is not a farmer build. It is a beginner bow build and a quite solid one. Like the person stated below you, if you want to make a quantiy / rarity build you don't make a bow-user in the first place.

You don't need IIR & IIQ to farm experience :p
